This time we want you to use a color combo and butterflies!
To inspire you I made two cards and two envelopes with the same super easy sketch:
Michelle Perkett (her Etsy store here), that I colored with colored pencils and I glittered some parts of them. For the mermaid projects I cut the image and place it on the card with foam tape, and for the b-day girl I cut around the image and glued it directly to the base of the card (and envelope).
The ribbon and raffia are from my stash, as are the papers. It was a great way to use that old patterned paper! I stitched some glass beads on all of them and glued some pink beads on the mermaid projects. I decorated the cards with a pearled pin, an old button and a handmade paper button, and some punched butterflies I folded in the middle and glued them here and there.
In general they were very easy to make and very fast! I spend more time coloring the images that finishing the projects. It was so much fun to embellish them, small details to make them special.
You can click on the images below if you want to see them in more detail.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and hope you can play with us this week!
